Xpeng Motors, as a leader in the early new car-making forces, is committed to the intelligent development of new energy vehicles and environmental protection travel experience. On August 27th, the listing price was 119,800 yuan to 155,800 yuan, and the new car was positioned as "intelligent pure electric hatchback coupe". I believe this pricing will have a great impact on the market, so let’s remember this pricing, and then proceed from the product strength of MONA M03 in Tucki to see if it is worth buying.
appearance design

During the test drive experience, the power output response of Tucki MONA M03 is smooth and not radical. When driving in urban areas, the vehicle starts neatly and the power output linearity is easy to control. This car does not pursue intense driving very much, but pays more attention to urban transportation. Of course, it is a pure tram after all, and it can be easily completed if it needs overtaking.
The new car adopts the suspension structure of front McPherson and rear torsion beam. It is not bad to adjust the torsion beam suspension, but it is a test for the chassis adjustment skill. It is said that Tucki has found a professional chassis adjustment team to optimize it repeatedly, and with the ultra-low center of mass suspension system, the handling of the whole vehicle has been improved through the adjustment of AI technology.
I have experienced that the adjustment of the rear torsion beam suspension has the feeling of a French car. When cornering quickly, the tracking ability of the rear wheel will have a little impact compared with that of the single suspension, but it will not be slow if it is not driven violently. However, in corners, the lateral suspension support force of the vehicle is sufficient, and the body roll range is small.
When the vehicle passes through a large undulating road surface, the comfort of the rear torsion beam is specially felt, and the jumping of the rear suspension is still effectively suppressed, and there is no unnecessary vibration. The comfort of MONA M03 is still good during driving, and the comfort and handling are well balanced.
The steering wheel has three adjustable gears, and the lightest gear is very friendly to female car owners, and the steering is light and flexible. The new car has a steering ratio of 14.2:1 and a turning radius of 5.3 meters. I turn around on the road in the new area, and the vehicle needs to occupy about one and a half opposite lanes.
Before the test drive, Tucki explained the BOSCH IPB intelligent integrated braking system and CST comfortable braking function carried by MONA M03, and gave the official test data, and the 100-zero braking distance was 35.63m. Of course, we don’t have the equipment to test the accurate data during the test drive, but the feedback force of the brake pedal on urban roads is moderate, the braking response is very linear, and it is easy to control the distance between workshops.
Intelligent experience
Intelligent driving is Tucki’s strong point. MONA M03 in Tucki is equipped with 2 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars and 7 cameras. The whole system comes standard with LCC, ACC adaptive cruise and 360 image system for cities and expressways.
Tucki also applies full-stack self-developed global lane-level 3D perception to render maps, and the whole system comes standard with full-scene car sense SR. Combined with sensor data and global real-time big data platform, it can render and feedback the surrounding traffic environment and road environment in real time, and position and guide to deal with complex intersections, viaducts, ramps and other scenes.
Special reminder: Tucki MONA MO3 mid-low models are not equipped with full-scene intelligent assisted driving XNGP system. In addition, the whole vehicle comes standard with a full-scene intelligent parking system. According to the official information, the scene applicability is 100% and the parking success rate is as high as 95%. I experienced it in both the ground and underground parking lots of the hotel, and both of them were successfully parked.
