How to charge new energy vehicles scientifically, do you understand?

Nowadays, there are more and more new energy sources. For many concerned car owners, how to carry out car maintenance, especially battery maintenance, has become a hot topic. Broadly speaking, charging is divided into three categories.

First, slow charging: almost all household charging piles belong to this category, because considering the overall voltage distribution of the community, it is generally controlled below 10w (Tesla is slightly higher). This method has relatively slow charging speed and takes a long time to fully charge the battery, but it has high charging efficiency and less loss on battery life.

The second is fast charging: the charging speed is very fast, and it usually takes about half an hour to fully charge the battery. However, the fast charging method has a great loss on battery life and needs to be used with caution.

Third, intelligent charging: intelligent charging is a charging method that can be automatically adjusted according to the battery state, charging voltage and charging current. This charging method can avoid the problems of overcharge and overdischarge to the greatest extent and protect the life of the battery.

The practice of stopping charging when charging to 80%-90% or the remaining 20% is mainly aimed at battery maintenance. In this case, keeping the battery in the range of 20%-80% is beneficial to the health of the battery. Because in this range, the state of charge (SOC) of the battery fluctuates little, which can effectively avoid deep discharge and full charge storage, thus delaying the aging speed of the battery.

For some new battery management systems, charging to 100% and discharging can give full play to the performance of batteries. The function of this management system includes actively balancing the battery charge to ensure that the SOC of each battery cell is consistent. In this way, the overall performance of the battery can be better played. For example, some electric bicycles feel that their battery life drops after being placed for a period of time, but after being used for a period of time, they feel that their battery life is back, which is the same reason. In the final analysis, new energy trams are electrical appliances, and for electrical appliances, they still need to be maintained frequently.

The correct charging method depends on your usage scenario and the function of the battery management system. If you pay attention to the life of the battery, it is a better choice to control the battery charge at 20% to 80%. But if you pursue the performance of the battery, charging to 100% and discharging it are more suitable for you.

At the same time, it is also very important to ensure that the charging environment of electric vehicles is dry, well ventilated and free of sundries, and to avoid charging in high temperature environment. Try to use original chargers, and avoid using poor quality chargers or non-original chargers. Inferior chargers or non-original chargers may have safety problems, which may lead to battery explosion and spontaneous combustion.

It is helpful to maintain the battery by deep discharge on a regular basis. In addition, frequent disassembly and assembly of the battery may lead to improper use of the battery and shorten its service life.
