Deepen the concept of "two mountains" and start again in beautiful countryside — — 2021 beautiful countryside in Dinghai, Zhejiang Province was held a few days ago in Ma ‘ao Village, Dinghai District, Zhoushan City. At the opening ceremony, Dinghai District officially signed a cooperation agreement with UN-Habitat and Tongji University to promote the practice of Dinghai’s net zero-carbon rural areas, and issued guidelines for the planning of net zero-carbon rural areas.
Net zero carbon is called carbon neutrality, which refers to offsetting greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide produced by human life through energy saving and emission reduction, industrial adjustment and afforestation, and finally achieving the goal of "net zero emission". In recent years, based on resource endowment and basic advantages, Dinghai has put the concept of net zero carbon throughout the rural revitalization work and actively explored the construction of net zero carbon rural areas.
In 2019, Xinjian Village in Dinghai District was unveiled at the first UN Habitat Conference as a typical case of a global net zero-carbon village. Energy-saving aerial power station, unpowered entertainment facilities, sewage recycling … … In Xinjian village, people can enjoy the beautiful rural scenery of light clouds, green mountains and flowing water, dancing butterflies and singing birds, and feel the concept of "net zero carbon" implanted here. This year’s "May Day", the number of tourists who come to Xinjian Village to experience the rural customs has reached a new high, and the practice of net zero carbon has laid a foundation for the construction of beautiful countryside and the long-term development of rural tourism.

Six clean zero-carbon demonstration sites, including Ma ‘ao Village and Huangsha Village, have been upgraded in batches, and digital thinking technology runs through all fields of low-carbon rural construction. Use old wood, tiles and stones to transform houses; In the construction of ecological homestay, "facilities give way to trees", and the original masonry is used to reduce the use of concrete; Reasonable selection of building orientation and location of doors and windows, as far as possible to achieve passive heating and ventilation to reduce energy use … … All development projects in the village are based on the advantages of ecological environment and aim at the development of green and low-carbon cycle.
During the beautiful countryside Week, Dinghai also launched a series of supporting activities, using music festivals, sports activities, markets and other diversified forms to build the brand of "Village Agreed Sea", expand the influence of Dinghai beautiful countryside, and polish the "golden business card" of Dinghai rural cultural tourism. Come to the island to ride and camp, pull out the crab cage, and walk in the village to enjoy the flowers and residents’ accommodation.
